Dale Ferris
Dale Ferris is the editor-in-chief of Vacuum Owl. He's been writing about household appliances, floor care, and the wider consumer-electronics market for over twenty years, with previous staff and freelance bylines at home and trade publications. His role at Vacuum Owl is to set the editorial brief - what gets covered, how it gets tested, and what the trust standards are - and to write the year-end decision-aid pieces where editorial judgment matters more than a spec sheet. Dale built Vacuum Owl on a simple bet: that most "best vacuum" content is recycled retailer copy, and that a site which actually tests suction, opens up filters, and tells you when to repair instead of replace would earn readers' trust. He lives in the US Midwest and is, by his own admission, the kind of person who reads the manual.
